At SCCI, we build our reputation on honesty, integrity, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of doing business. Over the course of any project, we cut many angles into light gauge metal, but we never cut corners. As a result, our customers have their needs met and their expectations exceeded.
Strict quality control is our standard. Our bid packages are thorough, itemized down to the last foreseeable screw needed for installation. Our design engineering meets or exceeds every structural code while minimizing cost. Project managers keep projects on schedule and on cost, thanks in large part to our proprietary, fully integrated project tracking software that tracks jobs from procurement to delivery of goods and installation services.
With more than 150 years combined experience in the construction industry in a multitude of trades and scopes, our management team are experts who draw on their extensive backgrounds to achieve excellence even when faced with the most complex challenges.

Our customers often compliment us for our exceptionally thorough quotations, which
include everything needed to install a system. Everything. Down to the last screw. It’s part of our
“No Surprise Policy”, which means it’s an SCCI corporate policy to attempt to eliminate the need
for any purchase beyond our quotation.
Our quotation thoroughness is so unique, our quotes commonly become the yardstick
for all other bids on projects. For example, we meticulously outline the quantity, length,
location and description of every component in the following sections; Connection Accessories,
Truss Bracing, Construction Bracing, Flashings, Miscellaneous Components, Diaphragm/Permanent
Bracing, Blocking and Cladding.

In this section of SCCI quotations,
we list items that are not required for the integrity of the trusses, but that aid in their installation,
such as temporary bracing, x-bracing to stabilize trusses while they are being set, screws to connect
these components, and many other items – items that most builders assume are included in all
bidders’ scope of work, but that often are not.
In addition, items such as outriggers, fascia track,
eave angle, hip-valley-ridge flashing, rafters, eave blocking
and many other items are SCCI quotations, but are typically not
included in quotations by our competitors. If SCCI omits them from a quotation,
the omission will be noted in our Exclusions section so that you encounter “No Surprises.”
